Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Abundant Life Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. We have 4 cardinal doctrines that we believe in and live by within the Assemblies of God denomination. The 4 doctrines are listed below along with a link to an article which lists the 16 fundamental truths.
Salvation of Man
We believe in the power of the cross -- that Jesus died for all mankind to give us the way to the one true God. Through repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we all have the opportunity to be saved.
The Baptism in The Holy Spirit
All believers have access to the Holy Spirit because of Jesus' promise to us as people when He ascended to Heaven after His death and ressurection. He promised the Holy Spirit, which convicts and encourages us to live a righteous and holy life. We are filled with an overflow of His Spirit when we choose to earnestly seek Him.
Divine Healing
We believe in miracles, signs, and wonders because we know who God is and have faith in what He can do. Deliverance from sickness is provided for all those who believe.
The Second Coming of Christ
We know that God is a promise-keeper. He promised to send His Son to return to Earth and honor those who have received Him as Lord by allowing them to rest eternally in Heaven, while those who haven't received Him as Lord through salvation will be judged for their works.
